The Swiss Inn is one of the best hotels in Dahab. If you want to take an advantage of all that a top hotel has to offer while in Dahab, but don't want to stay in a high-rise development, then the Swiss Inn with its cozy atmosphere is perfect.

Location

Set on the long, sandy, shallow beach with views across the lagoon, the Swiss Inn is particularly popular with families. The centre of Dahab with its bazaars, shops and restaurants is about 2.5 km away. The hotel has its own diving and surf centres. You can find the Swiss Inn on our map.

Rooms

The Swiss Inn has 76 pleasantly decorated double rooms with sea view and 73 overlooking the hotel's beautiful gardens and the incredible Sinai Mountains.

All rooms are with balcony or terrace, telephone, satellite TV, mini bar, air conditioning, safe, hair dryer, bath and shower, toilet, and easy access to the gardens and to the beach.

Hotel services

The well-cared for grounds and hotel are Swiss-run. In the hotel’s main building there are the reception and lobby, a souvenir shop, a bank and an excursion office, an internet corner.

The luxurious garden adjacent to the beach has a heated fresh water swimming pool (26 degrees) with integrated children pool, sun terrace and pool restaurant. There are sun beds, beach towels and sunshades by the pool and on the beach. There is also a children club, the Mini Club (3-8 years, several languages are spoken), and playground. A babysitting service is available at an extra charge.

Restaurant and bar

The El Khaima restaurant serves a buffet in the mornings and evenings. ‘Locanda’, Bar & Restaurant is also open in the evenings for those who want to eat a la carte, play billiard or enjoy barman’s delights at the bar. Snacks are available all day at the 'Oasis' Restaurant. You can also get cold drinks, cocktails and fresh juices at the Beach Bar. And in the evenings you can relax in the Bedouin cafe, or the 'Sheesha Corner' on the beach.

Leisure and sport

Boccia, beach volleyball, and the fitness room are available for free ; Tai or classical massage, sauna and steam bath are against charge. For an extra charge, you can also play billiards, rent bicycles, go horse riding, rent a pedalo or enjoy the banana boat, go water skiing, take a trip on the glass bottomed boat or go snorkeling. There is a dive centre and surf centre in the hotel.
